Just in case you're wondering...

why we haven't called you or returned your calls or whatever, it's not because we don't love everyone. We're just hanging out trying to keep our heads above water around here.  Some nights and days are better than others, but in general we're doing our best to just get through the newborn phase and try to figure out our plans for the near future. Reilly and Jaina love their little sister, but have been having some behavioral problems with the adjustment. We hope that that will get better with time.
Other things we're hoping will improve soon:
-Katy's ratio of sleeping on her own vs. sleeping only when being held
-The ratio of clean to dirty dishes
-The stress level relating to where we're all moving to in the near future
-The total combined hours slept each night in our house
-The humidity level in the midwest
Wish us luck!

Happenings:
Lots of playing in the water, whenever possible:

Celebrating the 4th of July, about as much as we could handle this year: patriotic cupcakes and staying up late to see fireworks...

Returning to church as a family and even attempting a picture:
Sisters:
And the day Katy got more mail than anyone!
How could a face this cute cause ANY trouble?

I love Katie with all of her fan mail :) Glad you guys are hanging in there. We're finally back so let me take your kiddos sometime so you can take a nap or do something else for yourself.

Great pictures! It looks like you're doing a fabulous job. :) I don't doubt that the stress and exhaustion levels seem to stay on a steady course heading straight up! It's a good thing there's great pay offs like baby smiles, little hugs, wet kisses, and those oh-so-elusive naps! :) You're amazing.

Oh, she is sooo sweet. I always look forward to that three month mark, it seems it takes that long to get things under control. But then six to twelve months is my favorite baby stage! So, you're moving? What places are you looking at going? How soon? Good luck!

I LOVE the sprinkler pictures. SO cute! And you're right, that blessing dress kind of dwarfs her. (: I have an idea for how to alter it a bit to make it fit better if it's still too big in August (: Call me sometime when you're not going crazy (: Love ya!

Cute pics! Cute family you have. You wouldn't believe the amount of paper goods we have gone through :)...yet the clean to dirty dishes ratio still isn't good. I wish we could all stop eating, there wouldn't be near the messes. Well...let's all just hang in there together and soon we'll be bored while they are all in school (hahaha).

Love it! I'm sorry things are rough, I am beginning to relate. Patience is SO much harder with such little sleep. I am thankful I had a boy because they seem to be easier..well easier than Ellie anyway.
I'm sorry I got your message, call me any time. When you text the other day I was sleeping off my achey boobies. Sorry Jeremy....not sure if he reads this. ;0)
I am feeling much better though. I like to keep my new babies in the house until 3 weeks, but after I'd like to get together and talk...can't believe you guys are almost done.

I figured from your facebook status and your blog that you needed as much rest as possible. I am glad you are hanging in there and I hope little Katie figures out sleeping soon! Love you guys!
