Last year we went to our stake's Valentine's Dinner & Dance. It was a lot of fun, so when they announced it this year, I jumped to secure a babysitter (with about 6 young women in our ward, they can go fast). The dinner/dance WAS fun, if strangely identical to the year before... The food had a different main course, but I think that was about it. :) The entertainer was the same. It was still really nice, and we enjoyed getting to dress up and have an evening out together. (This was Saturday, the 13th, of course...) We didn't get to stay long for the actual dance part, as our babysitter needed to be home. That was just as well, since I somehow got dizzy after dancing only half a song. Go figure.
We were in too much of a rush before we left, so we set up the camera and took a few shots of us together after we got the kids in bed. :)

You guys are so cute and you are SO pretty and photogenic! That's hilarious about getting a babysitter, because i remember the sunday they announced it in church, when i went to Young Womens, all the girls were saying who they were babysitting for. I remember thinking that everyone was so quick about asking them and that i would have to remember that in the future! LOL!
What a fun date & great Valentine's Day! Those pancake look delicious!!! I think I'm going to have to go buy some berries and whipped cream. Yum! That's so funny that you got chocolate and cheetos, ha, ha! We are very blessed here to have a pick of good baby-sitters, I'll miss that if we ever move!
Sounds like fun...Valentine's Day is so great! You guys look good. Pink heart shaped pancakes are definitely an achievement even if the kids didn't notice. :) And I like Jaina's pigtails in the previous post, too.
How fun! LOVE the belly! Your so nice to make heart pancakes :)
our ward doesn't do those here. its too bad! i was looking at your blog thinking "its too bad we don't live closer! we would have fun together!!"
OH, you and Jeremy are SO cute! That's awesome that you were able to go out for Valentines Day EVE:) (I made pancakes for breakfast but I always make mickey mouse and other funky things so it didn't occur to me to make hearts until the very last one-so Reggie got a heart-anywho).
Yay for belly shots! And yay for getting out with your hubby! I'm impressed with the pancakes as well!
Sara your little boy looks so much like you. How cute your kids are!!
Jaina looks scared of her pancakes, but I think they look delicious.
Jeremy looks very much like a doctor in his pics.
This is Phil if you couldn't tell by the comments.
